1985 Tag Heuer 1000 Ref. 989.106LConsidered the collection which saved Tag Heuer from bankruptcy during the quartz crisis, the 1000 series has an important part in horological history. This particular reference is known as the 'night diver' among collectors due to its fully luminous dial. It's also the 'jumbo' model which would have been considered very big in the 80's and as a consequence sold in much lower numbers. The logo is 'Heuer' only, from a time before 'Tag' and 'Heuer'

I followed the size guide and ended up with an item that was to large in all areas. It did not fit like a slim fit. The fabric is odd and does not feel great against the skin. I love the design. I really wish it would have worked.
